This was my first ACE Event, but it is an offseason tradition for many of my friends.
This includes Nick Koss. Also known as Kossdude1 and Cutback Productions. Check out some his stuff on youtube here and here.
Now let's kick this off.
There's nothing quite like getting woken up by Tony Clark, Director of Communications at Cedar Point. There was a short video on Valravyn but he requested that nobody film or document it, so I respected his wishes.
Next up is Eric Snow with Holiday World and Splashin' Safari.
Obviously Thunderbird was a smash hit and currently sits as my sixth favorite steel coaster.
The best part about this event is that it includes a table prize. Mine was a Flag that was flown on The Legend.
Kentucky Kingdom had a great little video to kick off their presentation, highlighting the coasters that have been opened under Ed Hart's watch.
It's no surprise that Storm Chaser took up a large amount of the presentation.
Here are some statistics about Storm Chaser.
The trains were unveiled. As a consensus, we agreed the trains are good, but lack theming, and features an odd color scheme.
Heads up, there are two event s coming up at Kentucky Kingdom this summer. The first is a Coaster Crew exclusive, and the second one is open to ACE Members.
Stay Tune for Schlitterbahn Water Parks and more.
Bahncon is being held at Kansas City's Park, and Summer Under Cover at Galveston's Park.
A funny part of the presentation was a complete accident. Kansas City is not in Texas.
Speaking of Galveston, we got a sneak peak at their new water coaster. It has been confirmed as opening under the title of World's Tallest Water Coaster.
I learned that ACE actually prints name tags. So my nickname got printed.
Attendees also got an in-depth look at Lightning Rod at Dollywood.

Unfortunately, there was a major snow storm the weekend of this conference. So Knoebels couldn't join us to give a live bit. The next best thing was a Skype call with them.
Six Flags Fiesta Texas was great and gave a rather exclusive update on the refurbishment of their Boardwalk area of the park.
These included the removal of their Frisbee for the completed addition of SpinSanity.
Here are some upcoming ACE Events at Six Flags Fiesta Texas.
